Shoutcast Titles

Use the Shoutcast Titles plugin to update stream metadata when Power Studio plays music.

Before Configuring

Before enabling the plugin, collect:

• Shoutcast server address.
• Port.
• Password or administrator credentials.
• Metadata format required by the stream provider.

Check The Output

Test with a non-critical item first and verify that the public player, website or stream directory updates correctly.

Now Playing behavior depends on content type. Make sure jingles, commercials and voice tracks have the correct content type so they do not publish unwanted metadata.
